  1. I totally am a frugal girl who loves unique fashion and loves to save money getting unique, high quality items. Some of the deals I have found are just unbelievable, but they are out there. I often wonder why people pay so much for things when everything goes on sale and there are always alternative places/times to shop. For instance, I always buy the best funky boots in February when spring is coming around. Last year, I bought a pair of white Chloe boots (not that I’m into designer names, just designer quality) valued at $750.00 for $99.00 at Marshall’s Mega Shoe Shop in Westport, CT. I live in CT but not in Westport. They originally sold them for $349.99 (still a great deal), but I waited for the clearance and got them for a whopping 87% off. That’s just NUTS!!!! They are so beautiful – white soft, thick leather with a grey wood heal and leather soles – Crazy beautiful. I know that the key is having a good eye, loving to shop, being patient and thinking outside the box. Believe me, if you saw the assortment of clothing, shoes, boots, bags (all leather only) and jewelry as well, you would probably flip. I am absolutely obsessed with beautiful things and quality things but I do not like to pay full price although sometimes (every once in a blue) it is worth it to get a great piece that you will get lots of were out of. My goodness – I am going on and on and on. You can probably tell I have a passion for fashion. You are someone whose philosophy just speaks to me – I guess you could say we are somewhat kindred spirits. Happy shopping and bargain hunting. Oh – I love a good flea market and off price retailers. The bigger department stores are only good when they have CLEARANCES (not sales). Well, there you have it and I hope you have enjoyed hearing just a little tidbit of what I love so much about saving money and looking stylishly chic while doing it.

    Thanks for listening………….
